Rachana Sharir

INTRODUCTION

The Department of Rachana Sharir stands as one of the important pillars of the basic principles of Ayurveda. It deals with the study of the structure of the human body. Rachana Sharir emphasizes both Sookshma Sharir (microscopic anatomy) and Sthoola Sharir (gross anatomy). The department deals with concepts such as Peshi (muscles), Sira (veins), Dhamani (arteries), Srothas (channels), Marma Sharir (vital points), etc.
