Introduction about Department of Panchakarma:

 

Panchakarma represents unique approach of Ayurveda with specially designed procedures for cure of the diseases and maintenance of the health. Panchakarma are capable to cure multi-system disarrangement and gives permanent or long lasting cure. Being a tourist favourite destination Goa is having a great potential to develop the medical value tourism and department of Panchakarma in All India institute of Ayurveda is emerging as a torchbearer in this field.

Department is well equipped with state of the art Panchakarma theaters, modernistic physiotherapy unit, uniquely designed Panchakarma cottages for patient care and best in class academic infrastructure for the students of undergraduate as well as post graduate. Department also runs certain occupational course accredited by health care skill council to cater the rising demand of man power in the Ayurveda hospitals, Medical tourism resorts, wellness centers across the globe. Faculty members are also extending their clinical services through satellite clinics for propagation of Ayurveda and to extend the reach of the institute to the larger number of population.

  • To be the centre of excellence in the field of patient care through Panchakarma along with providing quality education for empowerment young generation in Ayurveda.

 

Mission:

  • To propagate the knowledge of Panchakarma through education and patient care nationally as well as internationally.
  • To develop a well equipped Indian medical system destination for medical value tourism in accordance with the motto of institute i.e. ‘care with compassion’
