The All-India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA) Delhi is an autonomous body under the Ministry of Ayush. In the last five years, the institute has already made its name in the public healthcare system in the form of a tertiary care centre by treating more than 15 lakh patients. The AIIA Delhi has delivered more than 1500 publications in collaboration with various national and international institutions to give data-backed research in the field of Ayurveda.
The inauguration of AIIA Goa has opened doors of opportunities for the students of Goa and other parts of the country. The AIIA Goa, with its sprawling 50-acre campus, is modelled along the same lines alike AIIA Delhi to offer preventive, diagnostic and tertiary healthcare facilities. We want to thank the Prime Minister and the Ministry of Ayush for their Support. We have tried to introduce New-age Ayurveda among the youngsters and would like to assure the Prime Minister that the future of Ayurveda is very much secure in the hands of young scholars. AIIA is not only focussing on practice-based evidence but also evidence-based practice and strives to take the patients from a stage of illness to wellness and finally to happiness. The biodiversity and the medicinal plants found in the area will help the practice of Ayurveda, the AIIA satellite centre in Goa, which is an international tourist destination and will also encourage the prospects of medical tourism in the country. AIIA Goa is our new baby and like any other guardian, we want that the Institute should mark its presence in the field of Ayurveda globally.
