A National Level Shloka Presentation Competition
For Undergraduate Students
On The Occasion of Maharshi Charaka Jayanti-2024


The competition aims to inspire the undergraduate students of Ayurveda to explore into the teachings of Charaka Samhita.

Participation Process:

Select a Sutra

The participants will select a sutra from Charaka Samhita for explanation.

Create a Video

Guidelines for Creating the Video

  • Record a video explaining chosen sutra from Charaka Samhita. It can be your presentation, clip using multimedia tools, instruments, props, or animation etc.
  • Participants should explain application of the selected Sutra.
  • The language should be in Sanskrit, Hindi or English or mixed of these.
  • The video should be no longer than 3 minutes.
  • Size of the MP4 video should not be more than 50MB.

Submission Process

  • Participants will upload their video in their Google drive. Share the link (with access to anyone with the link) via the provided link on the AIIA, Goa website – https://aiiagoa.org/
  • The link for uploading the videos will be active till August 31st 2024. The videos will be available for voting from 1st The likes to the video given till 15 September 2024 will be accepted.

 Judging Criteria:

  • Judgement will be based on originality, creativity, popularity and new ideas explained in the submitted video.
  • Encourage peers to view and vote for your entry on the AIIA, Goa website – https://aiiagoa.org/

Judges’ Decision 

  • Expert judges will evaluate entries based on depth of understanding and presentation quality.
  • Judges’ decision will be final.

Prizes:

Ten prizes of ₹1000/- each

  • No entry fees, student can submit multiple entries.
