Independence day celebration -All India Institute of Ayurveda celebrated 77th independence day

In a significant event showcasing the convergence of healthcare, diplomacy, and media, Dr. Parvinder Singh, Advisor to Wat Thai, Thailand, Advisor To TSA, and World Peace Institutes United Nations and CEO Founder of Page3 News Worldwide, along with Mr. Jercy Manchester, a Former Government Official of the United Nations, paid a courtesy visit to the esteemed All India Institute of Ayurveda in Goa.

During their visit to the All India Institute of Ayurveda in Goa, Dr. Parvinder Singh and Mr. Jercy Manchester were warmly welcomed by Prof.Dr. Sujata Kadam, Dean (Academic ad Admin), and other faculties. The visit included insightful discussions on the potential intersections between traditional healthcare practices, holistic wellness, and global diplomacy. The esteemed guests were given a tour of the institute’s state-of-the-art facilities and gained insights into the deep-rooted wisdom of Ayurveda, India’s ancient system of natural healing.

This visit underscores the importance of collaboration between various domains to address pressing global challenges. Dr. Singh and Mr. Manchester’s presence at the All India Institute of Ayurveda, Goa, serves as a catalyst for promoting awareness, understanding, and cooperation among nations.

AIIA GOA YOGASANA COMPETITION : 2023

As a part of celebration of 9th International Day of Yoga 2023, All India Institute of Ayurveda, Goa, a Satellite Institute of All India Institute of Ayurveda, New Delhi, an Autonomous Organization under Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India has organized a Yogasana Competition on 17th June 2023.

The Yogasana Competition was conducted separately for AIIA GOA BAMS First Year Batch 2023-24 students and for All AIIA GOA Employees.

A special theme created by Faculty Dr. Yogesh Shinde for the AIIA GOA Yogasana Competition 2023 was ॥आसनेन भवेत दृढं॥ “Asanen Bhavet Drudham” meaning “With Yogasanas We Become Strong.”

More than 150 AIIA Goa Family members participated in this Competitions.

AIIA Goa Dean Dr. Sujata Kadam madam briefed the idea and vision behind the AIIA Goa Yogasana Competition 2023 and the purpose of special theme. She congratulated Dr. Yogesh Shinde, Assistant Professor and Mrs. Mohini Meti, Yoga Therapist from Department of Swasthavritta and Yoga for organizing this unique yogic event in the campus.

The competition was started with 2 rounds in each category and 3 winners were declared from each category. The 6 winners will be felicitated on 21st June during the celebration of International Day of Yoga 2023.

Dr. Yogesh Shinde, Assistant Professor, AIIA Goa organized the AIIA Goa Yogasana Competition 2023.

Associate Dean Dr. Kalpana Sathe, Yoga Therapist Mrs. Mohini Meti judged the Yogasanas.

Dr. Chintamani Patil, Dr. Mahima Pansuriya, Mr. Mahendra Dhuri, Mr. Mahadev Koregaonkar, Mr. Atul Jadhav, Mr. Vinayak Inchal, and other teams coordinated all the essential arrangements of the competition.

After the competition, a special difficult Yogasana session was voluntarily performed by Faculty Dr. Thrijil Krishnan, Dr. Swapnil Auti, Dr. Shivanand Patil, Dr. Akhilesh Shukla, Dr. Prashant Sasane, Dr. Resmi B.G. Dr. Lalita Gawas, Dr. Alreeza Fernandis and the similar surprising and enthusiastic performance was given by all AIIA Goa employees Mrs. Vinita Rane, Mr. Sagar Dhuri, Mrs. Arati, Mrs. Sangeeta Yadav, Mrs. Bhakti Chavan, Miss. Durga, Miss. Pinki etc.

The AIIA GOA Yogasana Competition 2023 created unity, positivity, harmony and happiness amongst all the AIIA Goa Family and created an awareness amongst everyone to open the doors of Self Yogasana Practice for a Strong and Healthy Body and Mind as proposed in the theme.

An inaugural ceremony for Basic Workshop in Health Sciences Education Technology

An inaugural ceremony for Basic Workshop in Health Sciences Education Technology organized by MEDICAL EDUCATION TECHNOLOGY & TEACHERS’ TRAINING CELL, AIIA, GOA was conducted on 29.05.23 at 2.00 pm at Academic block, ALL INDIA INSTITUTE OF AYURVEDA, GOA. Event started with lamp lightening and Dhanvantari Vandana. Associate dean Dr. Kalpana Sathe gave brief idea about the event followed by Welcome speech by Dean Dr. Sujata Kadam. Dr. Sujata Kadam emphasized on the importance of Health sciences technologies in Ayurveda education. formal green welcome was given to the guest speakers Dr. Arti Hajarnavis , Professor & Head Dept of Biochemistry, D.Y.Patil Dental college, Pune & Dr. Nirmala Rege, Professor Emeritus, Department of Pharmacology and Therapeutics, Seth GS Medical college & KEM Hospital. Dr. Lalita Gawas proposed the Vote of thanks. Day 1 of the workshop started with the Pre-test followed by session on Ice Breaking and Group Dynamics by Dr. Arti Hajarnavis followed by session on Curriculum, Outcomes and Objectives by Dr. Nirmala Rege. Total 16 participants were present for the workshop and participated actively in all the group activities and interactive sessions. Feedback was collected at the end of the Day 1.
