MoU Exchange Programme on 07 April 2026
AIIA Goa successfully organized the MoU Exchange Programme on 07 April 2026 at the Conference Hall, Academic Block, marking a significant step towards strengthening academic collaboration, research partnerships, and interdisciplinary growth.
On this occasion, All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA), Goa exchanged Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with BVDU-IRSHA, Bharati Vidyapeeth, Pune, represented by Dr. A.C. Mishra, Director; Goa Dental College & Hospital, Bambolim, represented by Dr. Anita Spadigam, Dean; and Institute of Applied Statistics (IAS), DCS Pvt. Ltd., Kanpur, represented by Dr. Shubham Pandey, Project Director.
The programme was graced by Prof. (Vd.) P. K. Prajapati, Director, AIIA, and Prof. Dr. Sujata Kadam, Dean, AIIA Goa, in the presence of dignitaries from partner institutions, Heads of Departments, faculty members, officers, staff, and PG scholars.
These collaborations reflect AIIA Goa’s continued commitment towards academic excellence, collaborative research, innovation, and the advancement of integrative healthcare through meaningful institutional partnerships.

Inaugurated several special healthcare facilities aimed at strengthening patient care and expanding specialized Ayurvedic services





On the occasion of International Women’s Day, the All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA), Goa, inaugurated several special healthcare facilities aimed at strengthening patient care and expanding specialized Ayurvedic services.
The facilities were inaugurated by Shri Dr. Pramod Sawant, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Goa, in the esteemed presence of Shri Prataprao Jadhav, Hon’ble Minister of State (I/C), Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India; Vd. Rajesh Kotecha, Secretary, Ministry of Ayush; Prof. (Vd.) P. K. Prajapati, Director, AIIA; Prof. (Dr.) Sujata Kadam, Dean, AIIA Goa; and other senior faculty members of AIIA.
The newly inaugurated units include:
- Sushruta OT Complex – A modern surgical facility designed to strengthen Ayurvedic surgical procedures and enhance patient care.
- Physiotherapy Unit – Equipped to provide rehabilitation and therapeutic services for patients requiring physiotherapy and recovery support.
- Kaumarbhritya Panchakarma Unit – A specialized unit focused on Panchakarma therapies for children, promoting holistic pediatric healthcare through Ayurveda.
- BMD (Bone Mineral Density) Unit – Established to facilitate the assessment and management of bone health, aiding in the early detection and prevention of osteoporosis.
